Our Story

Copper & Shear started in 2018 when stylist **Maya Torres** left a corporate salon chain to build the kind of place she'd actually want to visit: unhurried, thoughtful, and genuinely good at what it does. The team is four stylists, each with a different specialty — from precision bobs to vivid fashion color. We use exclusively vegan, cruelty-free products and keep our chemical waste out of the water supply through a salon-grade filtration system. We believe your stylist should listen more than they talk, and that leaving the chair feeling confident is the whole point.

FAQ

Do I need to book in advance?

We recommend booking at least a week ahead, especially for color services. Walk-ins are welcome for cuts if a stylist is available.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Just yourself! If you have reference photos for the look you want, save them to your phone. We'll discuss everything during the consultation.

Do you do kids' haircuts?

Yes — we welcome kids ages 5 and up. We keep it fun and pressure-free.
