The Daily Grind Coffee & Bakehouse

Single-origin pour-overs and laminated pastries, baked fresh in the neighborhood since 2014.

Our Story

The Daily Grind started with a simple idea: brew the coffee we wished we could find, with beans roasted by people we know by name. Founder **Nora Bishop** opened the doors in 2014 after a decade behind espresso bars in Portland, Melbourne, and Brooklyn. The pastries are laminated by hand and baked fresh every morning. The bread is leavened with a sourdough starter she's kept alive for years. The coffee list leans single-origin, with a rotating pour-over from small farms we taste through every season. We don't take shortcuts, and we don't rush. A cup here is meant to feel like coffee at a friend's kitchen table — if your friend happened to roast a very good bean.
