Our Story

Ren Hair Atelier opened in 2020 when colorist **Naomi Ren** left a bustling Melrose salon to build something quieter: one chair, one client, full attention. The studio is intentionally small — a single private room where every appointment is exclusive to you. We specialize in lived-in blonding and dimensional brunettes, using only vegan, cruelty-free formulas chosen for the health of your hair. We believe color should look effortless, grow out gracefully, and never feel rushed. Privacy and precision are the whole point.

Do you take walk-ins?

We're by appointment only to keep the studio private. New clients begin with a color consultation, which we recommend booking two to three weeks ahead.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Just yourself and any reference photos saved to your phone. We'll go over tone, maintenance, and timing together during your consultation.

How often will I need to come back?

Our lived-in work is designed for low upkeep — most clients return every eight to twelve weeks for a gloss refresh.
