Reel North Wedding Films

Documentary Wedding & Elopement Filmmaker

I film weddings and elopements the way they actually feel — unscripted, emotional, and grounded in the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest. One filmmaker, no posing, every real moment.

What I offer

  • Elopement Film

A cinematic short film of your adventure elopement, start to finish. You get a 4-6 minute documentary edit, the full ceremony in audio, and a highlight reel built for sharing.

  • Full Wedding Collection

From morning prep to the last dance. I cover both partners getting ready, the ceremony, toasts, and reception, then deliver a feature film plus a teaser, all filmed solo and unobtrusively.

  • Coverage Add-On

Extra hours for a sunset session, a second-day shoot, or a welcome party. Added to any collection so your timeline never gets cut short on the day that matters most.

  • Adventure Session

A standalone film of your engagement, anniversary, or vow renewal out on the trail. Anywhere in the Cascades or along the coast. I bring the route ideas, you bring the people.

What couples say

  • "We were terrified of cameras and somehow forgot one was there. The film captures my husband crying at the first look better than any photo ever could. We've watched it a hundred times."

Maya Olsen, Married on Mount Hood
  • "Calmest vendor on our whole wedding day. He blended into the background, never once asked us to redo a moment, and the toasts edit still makes our parents cry."

    Greg Henderson, Olympic Coast wedding
  • "Working with him felt like hiking with a friend who happened to be filming. No posing, no awkward direction, just our actual day handed back to us as a movie."

Dani Cruz, Eloped in the Gorge

About me

I'm a solo wedding filmmaker with **nine years** behind the camera, shooting documentary-style films across the Cascades, the Olympic Peninsula, and the Oregon coast. Before weddings, I cut **trail and outdoor** short films and spent two seasons as a backcountry **camera assistant**. I'm based in Bend, Oregon, and I'll happily drive or hike to wherever you're saying your vows. I work best with couples who'd rather be adventuring than posing, and who want a film that feels like the day instead of a music video. I take a limited number of weddings each season so every couple gets my full attention. When I'm not filming, I'm usually backpacking, scouting new ceremony spots, or over-roasting coffee at 6,000 feet.

Common questions

What does the booking process look like?
Most couples start with a 30-minute video call so we can talk through your day and your vision. From there I send a collection breakdown with timeline, deliverables, and a fixed price. A signed contract and a retainer lock your date. I deliver a teaser within two weeks and the full film within eight.
Do you shoot photo too, or only video?
Video only, but I love working alongside photographers. I deliberately stay out of their frame and coordinate the timeline so neither of us misses a moment. I'm happy to recommend coast and mountain photographers I've shot with and trust completely.

Let's tell your story

I only take a handful of weddings each season so every couple gets my full attention. Tell me where you're headed.
